1月1日 New years dayOh my God, what happened, what was I thinking.....ahhh my head....Why God why...oh please just get me through this and I promise I'll never drink again....pleasepleaseplease.....oh! who moved the bed ....no don't move the bed....ahhhh dont get sick, dont get sick, dont get sick...ahh here it comes (thump thump thump) BRBLLLLGHUUUUUUU-ack...ack..
Just Kidding, I spent New years with the kids last night eating junk food and watching movies. We watched :
The Dark Night, which was 153 minutes long, I was ready for it to be over at about 100. It wasn't bad, but I probably won't ever watch it again.
The Incredible Hulk, Pretty good...everybody thought it was funny when he bumped his head, seemed very human, I might watch that again...it has Liv Tyler.
The Chronicles of Narnia-Prince Caspian...It was a good movie for tweens..I wish I had read the books when I was growing up, that would have been right up my alley.
So here I am, hangover free on New Years Day...whats up with that??? I got so drunk one year, my first year in the Air Force, that I passed out at 4 am, and when I woke up it was 8 am.....on the 2nd of January, I didn't believe anyone at first, I had to watch the morning News just to get the date right. Lost a whole day. In retrospect that isn't that bad, not compared to 1996. Most of that year is a wash...There was some foreign government involved.
Most of My New Years, ever since that first one has been disasterous, ususally I just hide out and pray for it to go over without my help. I'm not kidding, one year one of our freinds got alcohol poisoning (underage)...I met my future ex on another one...broke up a fight between two of my best freinds in another (over a woman)...got chased all night long by the Okinawa PD....And those are just the ones that I'm willing to tell you about....I hate New Years....I'm like the New Years Grinch.
